Using Save Attachment action you can save the email attachment(s) to the disk. Click the black down arrow next to Actions and select Save Attachment

Save Attachment
screen will be displayed.

Type any action name you like in the Action Name field. Click button and select the folder on your disk, to which you want the attachment(s) to be saved. For your convenience you can insert any field from the Field Extractor into the folder name and thus, let the program save the attachments to different folders on the disk. Use File Prefix and File Suffix boxes to change the attachment name. You can manually type any text, or you can insert any field from the Field Extractor into the attachment name. Just select the field from the File Prefix and File Suffix drop down boxes. Note: You cannot use the symbols that are not allowed in the file name: \, /, :, *, ?, ", <,>.

If you want to completely rename the attached file and save it to the disk under a new name, check Rename attachment to option and type a new file name followed by the file extension, for example newname.txt. ATTENTION! If the message has multiple attachments, only the last attachment will be saved to the disk under a new name.

Example 1:

To save the attachments received on the specific date to different folders, do this:

1) add the Field Extractor where:

Field Name - date_ (or any name you like)
Source - Generated value from mask - DateTime: dd-mm-yyyy
Start and End Search Position as is.

2) add the Save Attachment action. Enter Action Name, select the location for the folder where the attachments will be saved, click the right mouse button and select the date_ field name. It will appear in this format [%date_%]. Click OK. Every day the program will create a new folder in the selected directory and save all the attachments received during that day to that folder.

Example 2:

To save the attachments under different names depending on the date when they are received, do this:

1) add the Field Extractor as in the Example 1.

2) add the Save Attachment action. Enter Action Name, select the folder where the attachments will be saved, and select [%date_%] field name from the File Prefix or File Suffix menus. Click OK. The program will automatically generate the current date and insert it into the attachment name.

Perform this action if the field - check this option if you want to set the condition for Save Attachment action.

Enter a field name in the first box. The drop down menu will display the field names you have in the Field Extractor. The second box specifies a condition for the appropriate field name. Type the value that the specified field name must contain in the last box.
