If you set up different filters, in our example, the filters by Subject, Sender Email and Header/Body, the program will check a message using AND condition only between these filters. I.e. the message must successfully pass through three filters: Subject AND Sender Email AND Header/Body in order the program continues processing it according to the appropriate rule.

Between different words/strings within the same filter, for example, between the words Maillist and Remove within the filter by Subject, can be used both AND and OR conditions. In this case you are able to specify the condition by yourself by checking the appropriate options in the filter window:

Field matches all of the words below - the program will use AND condition,

Field matches any of the words below - the program will use OR condition.

Below is an example of filter settings that work using AND condition between Subject, Sender Email and Header/Body filters, and AND/OR condition between different words/strings within each filter:

Filters

*

Subject

If the program finds ANY or ALL of these words in the message Subject, it will pass to the next filter.

If the program does NOT meet any of these words in the Subject, it will NOT continue performing other filters for this message.

AND - maillist

 (AND/OR)

- remove

*

Sender Email

If the program finds ANY or ALL of these email addresses in the Sender Email field, it will pass to the next filter.

If the program does NOT meet any of these email addresses in the Sender Email field, it will NOT continue performing other filters for this message.

AND - abc@blind.com

 (AND/OR)

- mac@desk.com

*

Header/Boby

If the program finds ANY or ALL of these words or phrases in the message Header/Body, it will pass to the next rule entry.

If the program does NOT meet any of these words or phrases in the Header/Body, it will NOT continue processing this message according to this rule.

  - Organization: Organization

 (AND/OR)

- Body: Please, notify me

If you want the very same filters to work using OR condition (Subject OR Sender Email OR Header/Body), you should combine them in one filter, for example, in the filter by Header/Body where Subject and Sender Email will appear as filter strings, and check Field matches any of the words below option in the filter window:

Filters

*

Header/Body

  - Subject: maillist

- Subject: remove

- Sender Email: abc@blind.com

- Sender Email: mac@desk.com

- Organization: Organization

- Body: Please, notify me

If the program finds ANY of these words, phrases or email addresses in the message Header/Body, it will pass to the next rule entry.

If the program does NOT meet any of these words, phrases or email addresses in the Header/Body, it will NOT continue processing this message according to this rule.
