Using Database Manager you can add your data to a selected
database, delete data from a database, update a database or extract any field
from a database. To do this, select Database
Manager from Actions menu.

The Database Manager
window will be displayed.

Type the action name in the
Action Name field.
Click Select Database
button to select the database you want to work with.
Click the black down arrow in the
Action Type field to specify the action
you want to perform. The following actions are available:
Insert into Table,
Delete from Table,
Update Table and
Select from Database (i.e. extract fields from a database).

in the Field Extractor must contain Select
from database condition. |
Click the black down arrow in the
Table Name field to specify a table from
the database you want to edit. You will see the fields of the specified table on
the screen.
Database Field Name
column specifies a name of the field from the selected table.
Field Data Type column
specifies a type of the field from the selected table.
Mapped Value
column
specifies the values that the appropriate
field in the target table will contain. You can select the desired variables
from the drop down menu which automatically appears when you click the mouse on
the corresponding cell.
Search Field
- if you specify Yes in
this column, the program will search for the
specified mapped value in the corresponding field in the database. This option
is available only under Update Table
action.
If you click the right mouse
button on any string in the table, you will display the popup menu with the
following options:
Remove Mapped Value - allows you to remove the mapped value from the
appropriate field.
Mark as Search Field - allows you to mark a field from the database as
Search Field.
Remove Mark - allows you to remove the mark of Search Field from the
appropriate field.
Here you can also see a list of fields extracted from your message. To specify
the mapped value for the appropriate field, click the necessary field name.
Select Custom Value
to specify your own value for the selected field.
Perform this action if the
field - check this option if you
want to set a condition to perform the specified action with your database.
Enter a field name in the first box. The drop down menu will
display those fields you set in the Field Extractor settings.
The second box specifies a condition for the appropriate
field name.
Type the value that the specified field name must contain in
the last box.
