Saves, Renames, Extracts Data from Text Attachments
In addition to saving specific data extracted from emails to a file, G-Lock Email Processor can save the message attachment to a folder on your disk. If the attachment is received in a zip file, G-Lock Email Processor can unzip the attachment.
Plus, you can rename the attachment and save it under a new name to the folder, or forward existing or new attachments to new recipients. And you can extract data from text attachments, create custom reports using extracted data and attach them to outgoing emails in PDF or HTML format — all is fully automatically during the message processing!
Your students can send you their homework in the attachment, or your buyers can email you order confirmations in the attachments, or you may receive any other emails containing only the attachments with important information. So, you can setup G-Lock Email Processor to recursively process message attachments.
For example, if a [email protected] sends you an email with the subject "CS208", G-Lock Email Processor will identify the email, extract the subject, then take all the attached files, save them to the student's "CS208" folder and respond with an email telling the student what files were received and when. If the student's email was malformed in some way such as bad subject, or missing files, the program will not send an appropriate email. Or, you can set G-Lock Email Processor to send another email saying that the files were not received if the student's message had no attachments.
