Advanced
Email Verifier CGI Edition is a fast 32-bit-CGI/ISAPI/NSAPI
application designed for verifying e-mail addresses entered in different online
forms on web sites such as order forms and news subscriptions where the right
e-mail address entry is extremely critical. Current version: v.1.0
AEVCGI may be easily attached to your web
forms and may work either as an independent script or to transfer all data
to/from your scripts and/or programs for further processing. AEVCGI takes
e-mail addresses from web form and attempts to connect to the SMTP servers that
host the e-mail address given in the form in order to check its validity.
Nothing is sent to the recipient - as soon as the SMTP server gives either
positive or negative answer, AEVCGI closes connection. It allows you to
determine up to 90% of invalid e-mail addresses. (The other 10% of mail servers
receive messages, after that check e-mail address for validity and give back
message about problems with addresses). Thus, AEVCGI helps you to keep up
to 90% of your clients, customers or subscribers, whom you may easily lose if
they mistakenly enter an incorrect e-mail address, while filling out your web
forms.
AEVCGI is an ideal program for
Webmasters, site owners and site administrators who appreciate every client and
wish to have more functionality in their web form’s processing
capabilities.
AEVCGI does not demand any programming
skills, only a general and basic understanding of HTML in order to process your
web forms faster. However, the AEVCGI script requires Windows 9x/NT/2000 and at
least an Intel 333Mhz in order to operate.
